Practice Policies
How do CASC Practices Work?
Swimmers can attend however many or few practices they would like to in a week. CASC assigns their practice groups based on skill level rather than age group.
What Your Swimmer Needs For Practice
Every swimmer will need a practice suit, cap, goggles, and a water bottle for practice.
Practice suit: This is a suit that your swimmer will use for practicing every day, but it's not as tight as their racing suit.
- If swimmers are looking for cheap practice suits they can visit SwimOutlet or any other online swim store and search up grab bags. They will then choose their size and be sent a suit in that size.
Cap: Every swimmer will need a cap for practice. Caps will be available for purchase from the coaches at any time.
Goggles: Each swimmer needs to have goggles. Here are some goggles we recommend.
- Swimmers 10 & Under - TYR Swimple Mirrored Goggles
- Swimmers 11 & Over - TYR BlackOps Goggles, Speedo Vanquisher Goggles
Water bottles: Every swimmer is expected to have a water bottle with them on deck.
